Spain is the only producer of this unique almond; round and plump, sweet and with very low bitterness, the Marcona almond is used predominantly in pastries and baked goods. They are quite famous around the world and very different than almonds here in America - both in flavor and shape. Grown in the Mediterranean coast of Spain - from Malaga to Tarragona, the Marcona is easily recognizable by it's unique light brown, almost holey shell. Totally natural, totally sweet, these Marcona almonds are lightly fried in oil and salted. Absolutely delicious as a snack.

The first time I have found almendras fritas in the UK. A special taste of Spain! Delicious!
These are the best Marcona Almonds I've ever had - and I've tried quite a few! Top notch!
Don't normally go for salted almonds but these are absolutely fabulous - so delicious - just try them
It's not just that these are the best *nuts* you will find, these are pretty much the best *food* of any kind you will find! It is almost impossible to walk past the pot without having a couple. I now have to hide them somewhere the children can't find them!
These are excellent quality and delicious.
